Driving through this majestic forest today, I had to stop and stand at the foot of these 800 yr old beings. Spared by the greedy and ruthless timber barons of the early 19th and 20th centuries, they stand, reminding us of the beauty that existed everywhere here.
Now, just a small patch, preserved by the same name, MacMillan Bloedel Park, as the leaders of their decimation. Human beings, how did we get so lost.
