Life is all about learning.
Since I have decided not to work full time for Island Health, and am working on doing something creative and fun, I have been on a real learning curve.
Starting a business, working from home, creating earrings, writing songs, and doing business for friends, is an exercise in self-discipline and emotional stability. It can be an anxious time letting go of security. I plan to work hard and do the best I can to succeed, but there are moments of fear and doubt.
Now I am feeling an urgency and seriousness towards turning my previous hobbies into money generating activities. I look forward to making progress. It’s only been a few weeks, and next week, I have a big venue to show my work so that will be a telling experience. Will I, or won’t I be encouraged? Will see…. stayed tuned.
